Seth Watling

Seth Watling is the Founder of InPipe Training and InPipe Solutions, bringing more than 20 years of hands-on experience in sewer and stormwater maintenance.

Starting his career as a CCTV offsider, Seth progressed through operational roles including CCTV Operator, Drain Cleaning Operator, Combo Jet/Vac Operator and Supervisor. This progression has given him a thorough understanding of field operations, equipment and the practical standards required to deliver quality outcomes under real production conditions.

Throughout his career, Seth has delivered and supervised a wide range of maintenance activities, including CCTV inspection, drain cleaning, vacuum truck operations, hydro vacuum excavation, combo jet/vac operations, tanker work, ultra-high pressure (UHP) water jetting, and robotic milling activities. His broad operational background allows him to combine technical knowledge with practical experience to help operators work safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Seth has trained and mentored operators, supervisors and maintenance teams across the industry, drawing on both his own experience and the knowledge gained from working alongside some of Australia's leading sewer maintenance professionals. His training style is practical, engaging and focused on developing real workplace capability - not simply meeting compliance requirements.

CCTV OPERATOR & INSPECTION TEAM LEADER

Geoff Bottomley

Geoff Bottomley brings more than 10 years of hands-on experience in sewer and stormwater CCTV inspection, having worked as both CCTV Operator and Inspection Team Lead.

His practical experience includes pipeline inspections, defect identification and coding, inspection reporting, WinCan VX, equipment setup and maintenance, and implementing safe work practices in the field. Geoff has coordinated numerous CCTV inspection projects, managing crews, equipment, inspection requirements and reporting to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to industry standards.

Known for his attention to detail, Geoff takes pride in delivering quality outcomes from the initial equipment setup through to accurate inspection footage, defect coding and compliant reporting. His practical approach ensures operators understand not only how to complete the task, but why each step is important.

As a trainer, Geoff mentors operators in equipment operation, reporting software, defect coding and industry best practice. His approachable teaching style and extensive field experience help students build confidence while developing the practical skills required to perform high-quality CCTV inspections. Geoff specialises in practical, workplace-focused training that prepares operators to confidently inspect sewer and stormwater assets in accordance with industry requirements.
